I first met Marie and Martyn back in February after contacting me about the wedding promotion I was running back then. I explained to them that I hadn’t actually shot many weddings but so long as they we were willing to work with me and play along, I knew that they would get some excellent images as a result. They agreed. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple – they were fantastic and so was the day. It was great fun and I look forward to shooting more weddings in the future.
My style is portrait journalism, a combination of classic posed portraiture with elements of documentary and candid photography. This approach ensures a great looking mix of formal and informal imagery – from traditional wedding portraits found in all family albums through to those with a more arty editorial slant often found in high-end fashion magazines.
I delivered the photos to the couple this weekend so can now post a few of my favourites below. So far I’ve been blown away with the response and received lots of booking enquiries.
There is also an official Wedding album available to order – a stunning 60 page book full of beautiful glossy wedding day memories.
