Yesterday I returned to Studio Blanco for part 2 of the Fantasy Portraits workshop: Alice in Wonderland!
With make-up applied by talented artist Dagmara Zasuwa, we once again worked with the fabulous model Melissa who having seen last weeks experience came back with such confidence and attacked the shoot like a pro. Latin Power hit 110%!
I’ll be honest here: I don’t really remember the story of Alice but it didn’t matter too much and approached the shoot like any other portrait session. Other guys in the class were doing some amazingly creative things using playing cards and tea cups and whilst their results looked really great, it’s not my style. I’ll stick to what I know best – simplicity, people and personality.
What a great day we had in the studio! A fantastic mix of old and new faces joined us in Oxford to have their photos taken, and they all did awesome! It was a lot of fun and there are loads of great images as a result.
I need to give a massive shout-out to our fearless resident beautician Stacey who actually broke her hand at our Studio Day having a fight with the changing room. She didn’t know it was broken until later that evening (when it was balloon sized) – and she had stuck around helping out. She is double-triple-hard. Get well soon!!
It was fantastic to be back in the studio again. Here’s a selection of my favourites from the day:
Feel free to use these on Facebook or whatever, but please keep the logo in. We rely heavily on word-of-mouth so it really helps us out. Also if you’re happy with what you’ve seen so far, tell your friends!
